Since 1995 we, David & Michelle Lewis, have had the pleasure of representing and showcasing works created by some of the most talented South African Artists. In so doing, we have focused on our passion, experience, and expertise to enrich your lives with sophisticated art, exquisite style, and contemporary beauty.

 

Our gallery features a unique setting of shabby chic meets industrial, snugly ensconced in the vibrant, hustle & bustle, precinct of the Bay Harbour Market, Hout Bay.

 

Most of our artists are local to Hout Bay, from emerging talent (tutored on location) to seasoned professionals, honouring the centre’s commitment to community upliftment.

 

The dialogue between the artist and the art lover is very dear to our hearts. Having the privilege to be part of the experience and the process of creating art and sharing this exciting process with you is what, we believe, sets us apart. 

 

We are passionate about the development of upcoming artists and have therefore invited Intle Art Coomunity Youth Project to share our space.  Intle enables aspiring and disadvantaged young artists in Hout Bay to develop artistic and entrepreneurial skills.

 

We can say with pride and confidence that, as we continue to showcase some of the finest works available, a visit to our new gallery will be a worthwhile experience.  Over and above an eclectic array of art on display, our neighbours offer equally fine sustenance in terms of good food, wine and live entertainment.
